I volunteered to Take Stuart from Ikite up to Rooster a while back, but conditions and our schedules have not aligned. Today on the eve of Snowmagedon the stars are in alignment and we're headed up to Rooster to fix the sensor today. Very Happy

Sweet! Thumb's Up

Thx NAK & Stu - now I will be less likely to accidentally kite out into 50+mph gusts (again Shocked )

When we pulled up to the tripod part of the ladder was missing; I'm thinking "Oh crap!" But Stuart was up to the task. Smile

Did the ladder look cut where the section is missing or tore off from debris etc ?

Not cut or torn off, that section is just missing. You can see in the photos that's just how long each section is. My guess is unbolted and stolen for scrap metal.

Rad! Nice work.

You guys wanna go help turn around an oceanographic mooring?

Terms are no pay, few accolades, and substantial risk... It'll be fun.

Very Happy
