				| While we were kiting Rufus 7/24/2020 our Yeti roadie 24 was stolen from our car. A friends harness and kite were stolen as well. We were parked next to the launch. Be careful and be sure to secure your belongings. If anyone has any leads please reach out. |

I think I spoke with you after this happened. I'll keep my eyes peeled when I'm there.

I was the guy who mentioned seeing a guy pedaling a bike around slowly - wish I had more info than that. I saw him when I walked back to move my van closer to the beach from the access road, where I wasn't exactly comfortable leaving it somewhat open to keep my dog cool. Lots of folks who camp there bike around, but it was the way he was scouting around and directly watched me that caught my attention.

I'd scout some of the setups of people who are camped there indefinitely, maybe borrow a bike and pedal around the grounds casually. These are people who see many of the same kiters come and go and establish patterns - not indicting them, but just saying they'd be in a position to take advantage of an opportunity like a nice powered cooler setup or potentially valuable gear left out even for a quick run back to grab the rest from the beach.

Also you can't really rule out a fellow kiter - terrible thought, I know.

Good luck! |
