Sir,
Thanks for the launch. I'm not normally an inconsiderate ass-hat.... I was in a rush, which is no excuse. Let's see, I hooked my lines on your kite, was going to self launch upwind of you, and was basically being lame.
Thanks for being polite, cool, and throwing my kite up. I deserved much less.

Way to own it.
We've all done things at times that in hindsite we should have done differently.
The difference in owning our mistakes vs denying them defines who we are.
