Damn, it is about as nice as it gets around the Portland area these past 2 weeks or so, especially yesterday. Clear blue skies and cranking east/NE winds and not too warm of temps, but relatively warm out. All the plants flowering and new leaves coming out and everything super "new and fresh" green out.
People around the PNW have been very fortunate with the weather this past month or so. Can you imagine what it would've of been like with non-stop rain? Or worse yet, cold and or tepid temps and gray skies and not raining. That's the worse around PDX in the late spring and early summer when it is just gray out with cloud cover and no rain--sh*t or get off the pot I'm saying.
That said, the cranking east winds got me thinking about Rooster Booster times and so I went online and looked at the cam.
Not that anyone can do anything about it right now, BUT THE CAM IS DOWN.
The same photo of a sailboat, in the same position is on the screen.
Stay healthy and sane all! |
