headed to the Whitefish area later this month. Looking for beta on any snowkiting spots up there and if this time of the year has any wind.

Whitefish naw don't think so. There is some cold water kiting on flathead. maybe a field or whitefish lake for possible snow kiting otherwise probably gonna need a sled. or start driving. haggin is a solid 3-4 hours bighole 4+ hours. georgetown lake 3 hours.
Big sky has tons of options in the island park and raynolds area less then an hour from the resort. |

We have sleds if a little more remote access is necessary. |

Definitely no snow kiting near Whitefish even with sled access. The terrain in NW Montana is poor for snow kiting. Whitefish or Flathead lake are ice free though and have had some good wind lately. I had a 4 hour session on Flathead a few days ago. |
