The last five days have all been decent but yesterdays wind was exceptional at SI (IMHO). Might be taking the day off (the water) today even though it's probably going to be sweet again.

Are you serious? Did the 9m xbow really work on a normal board in those conditions, or was he on a surfboard? |

Nope, regular board. They were working it a bit more than the 13's, but no trouble staying upwind or going plenty fast.
I suggest you try before you jump on the hype train though, its a very different kite. Unless Cabrinha offers a money back guarantee, I'd be hesitant to buy one till I could see it in action and fly it a few times (I only got one short demo.) |
