So just curious, how does it work. Saw Timberline is opening and tried to imagine getting on a lift. Do they stop it, how does the bike stay on?,whats the process? Cool that Tline is finally getting this going! _________________ Kite Repair? AND LABRADORS Call me.(509) six 37-four five 29 |

Modern high speed lifts detach from the cable, slow down for loading, and then reattach to the highspeed cable....
And when I say modern - they've been around since the 80's. |

I know how lifts work, I'm wondering what you do with the bike. It doesnt dangle from your feet as easily as a snowboard. _________________ Kite Repair? AND LABRADORS Call me.(509) six 37-four five 29 |

Easy- give your bike to the dude at the bottom, he loads it on a special "chair" that has been converted to hold bikes, or hangs it on the back of the chair you are on. Procedure is reversed at the top station. It's country club mtn. biking |

I was just up at Tline and saw the chairs alternate between bike carriers and human carrierrs. Not sure if your bike goes on the carrier in front of you or in back.
And Tline to town trail was riding much smoother this year so thanks to whatever crews have been working on it! |

Most resorts convert every other chair to a tray style rack that holds three bikes, some hold two, and some places only do every three or four chairs.
You load your bikes into the tray, and they sit there secure. Pretty simple. |
