I'm asking for a friend, as he doesn't have access to a computer. Is there a kite that tends to drift towards the top of the wind window when the bar is released? He's getting tired of crashing and having his kite go towards the water. Seems like an easy thing to build into a kite system.
And, is anyone selling soft serve ice cream at the Event Site? |

my Best Cabo used to keep flying in same direction (even when I would let go of bar), it wouldn't drift down like all the other kites I've flown, It made self launching (anchor) a bit different, as the kite sometimes would end up hovering 5 or 10 feet off ground. |

Peter Lynn was da best for that. Not sure they’re still making them. Not sure it’s worth it either. Seems like a pilot issue, not the kite. _________________ curiously observing blurry patterns while slightly distracted |

I watched a woman launch a Cabrinha Drifter at Rufus today and noticed she twice let go of the bar and it stayed pretty well put overhead. Just anecdotal; I've actually never flown a Cabrinha myself. |

Drifters are not auto-zenith, but they will stay above you for a long time without bar input. |
