Recently spent three weeks in SE Asia. Thailand had some great beaches where I was but the little wind that was there was directly offshore. I highly recommend Mui Ne in Vietnam for kiting. The wind is like clockwork and they had 100% windy days in January and February. I spent a good chunk of time there in the hospitality of Trang at Windchimes. He is an awesome guy and will be happy to hook ya up while there. He even throws an annual contest for the locals for the "King of Mui Ne" and they tore it up for a couple of days drawing a crowd. All in all an excellent trip that well deserves a return. Once you get there the cost is minimal and there is so much to see in this country.
Here are a few pics but they are pretty lame as I didn't have the camera on hand much.

I arrived here in Mui Ne 2 days ago and the wind is unusally light. I would be fine if I brought the glide.
I will be looking into 4 wheel drive suv rental for some wake boarding action on the beach!

Nope...not my catch but it must have been a chore as I hadn't seen so much gloating in a while.
Stringy: I hope it turns on for you....it is unusual for it to be off for long. Enjoy and post some pics.

I was there last year. Trang at Windchimes was super helpful. Can't say enough good things about the place. My only advise would be to go in January or February. Good stuff.
