Mon Mar 12, 18 11:40 am Slingshot SST Question |
|
|
I'm replacing my 6M RPM with a SST and was wondering if I should get a 5 or 6M. I'm 195 and ride a surfboard almost exclusively -- next kite up is 8M RPM. Thanks _________________ CGKA Member |

Our kites 5 6 and 8 2017 rally's I also have a 2017 10m sst. and only ride a directional. The sst is a little less powered than a rally.
I weigh in at 200 and use the 6 in 35 to 40 mph. So I think a 6 sst will feel like 5 rally. Except the sst turn and drift much better. |

I use the SST for foiling and riding surfboard , my quiver is 6,8,10 . I weigh 200# I would recommend the 6m. _________________ Slingshot | Ride Engine |Try before you buy | PM me

190 lbs 85% foil/15% directional. I have an embarrassing quiver...
5/6/7 SST
Brilliant kites. If I was limited to one, 6m for sure.

Get the same size kite you are replacing.
SST sizing is comparable to RPM. It also holds a lot of wind, per size. Very stable kite. |

It sounds like 6M is the way to go. Thanks for the feedback! _________________ CGKA Member |
