Pine Martin chair is closed. I've been waiting for a month for some new snow and all I get is very strong winds, 4 inches new and very wet big flakes. A rare accend and retreat with no vertical logged  |

just got down from the mt... wet, and super slow... fun at the top.. but had to hike a bit at the bottom... Only like two cars at the parkinlot to..so nice and quiet..
Tried put up my 2m, but its so gusty, so it kept dying. =( |

Thursday was top 3 ever powder day at bachelor for me and i hit it a lot. . . 14 inches, summit opened up at noon, blue ski came out at 1 to 3, light to no wind and everything "any which way but loose" was great. I mean there was no wind pack of the powder and to hit it mid-week. Never really brag much, but this was a *** dream. Tomorrow is day 5 of the powder excursion. . .  I think I saw the purple bear as well; dam he/she makes its rounds.
Go get some. . . it's going to be around for the next week. |
