| A friend in Bozeman says the whole states burning down, and every time the crews start making progress, somebody spots some idiot flying a drone and they have to ground all the water drops.

That's been happening all over the state, it has become a FAA crime now, we had to shut down Air drops at work once this summer and it cost us a day or two according to the people that get paid more than me.
Good luck guys, I live at Snoqualmie pass. We've been getting hammered by the smoke and ash from the Jolly Mt Fire, when the wind shifted we had about a hour of ok air, then we got hit by the smoke from the crystal MT fire. I figured I would get a little air when I went back to shift, but the entire Columbia basin is covered in low smoke as well. Good luck guys! Be safe.

| Some cites have to have locks on all the compartment doors on there engines in big cities bro, cause people will steel right off the trucks while your on scene! Happens more than you think sadly...

We were doing a high line over the clackamas river a couple years ago with our tech team when we were cleaned out. Meth heads took wallets and everything else that was lose on the engine and then went to spend what ever they could with wallets and cards
Just a couple months ago we had tires slashed at two of our stations by some crazies. People only like us when they need us. Don't let us out in traffic because it might slow them down. Our sirens our loud , can you be quiet when you come to our neighborhood etc.
Can't please them all but you can only try !!
