				| This is only if you have an old wetsuit that is too stinky to recycle into yoga mats.
Next time you go for the Aquaseal to fix your wetsuit, do that job first, then use the rest of the Aquaseal to make a "no-sew" set of protectors out of that old wetsuit. Even glue on a piece of old kite line (in loops) to use as "connectors" so each side stays on the wing. Using the rest of the Aquaseal for this is a great way to make sure the open tube does not just harden in storage. And the no sewing thing is good too.

I like to make 40oz Koozies out of my old wetsuits. I like NSI, but $35 for a beer Koozie???

				| I'm using some NSI stuff now, but if you're looking for an inexpensive DIY solution, one method is cardboard and duct tape. just cut the cardboard to the profile of your wings. tape the pieces complete and then tape them together along the leading edge to make it one taco shape cover. duct tape seemed to work well to hold it all together. you can hold the front to rear wing covers together with a bungee

				| If you willing to sew, thick felt would work and be cheap. I think ketos uses a type of felt for a wing covers though they also make some fancier tailored pack cloth types. Furniture blanket or a non-scratchy type of rug pad could work. What I'd like to find is the foam/tarp material sandwich used in normal boardbags, but in a roll. Or maybe cannibalize old boardbags.
But the most likely prey for this kind of thing is still old wetsuits.

Pool noodles also work well for a longer carry & heavy aluminum mast. Like Rooster.

				| Find some thick sweatpants and cut the ends off to cover the wings, or double the layers up if it is thin material. _________________
