Please take both of these very seriously. Not only the pilot, but also the person launching or landing the kite for someone else. If you are not comfortable either landing or launching, in the conditions, just tell the person that is looking for a launch or land that you are not comfortable handling the kite in the conditions.
Thanks.

Let me add, since most of you are locals, be careful putting your kites into the hands of someone that would you not trust to drive you home.
Thanks.

I failed to ask someone if they had ever launched at Stevenson on Saturday and almost had an accident. ALWAYS ask if you don't know the person. _________________ CGKA Member |

True, but Stevenson is a tricky launch no matter who launches you. I've seen experienced launchers drop the kite into the rocks plenty of times. _________________ Gun control means hitting the bulls eye... |
