Bonneville Power Administration for sale - get your bids in now!
"The Trump administration has proposed selling off portions of a vast
system that produces nearly half of the nation’s hydropower electricity."

This has been proposed before and thankfully the idea was killed. But Trump thinks it is a good idea as he can potentially line his rich industry companies and buddies pockets.
Personally I think this is a bad idea. The BPA needs to control its distribution system for the product it creates.
What dams? BPA you want to sell off your power? Well I'm (new private owner of transmission distribution system) not going to buy any power unless it is for a cheaper kilowatt hr and persons and parties that want and need the power, I'm not selling the power unless it is for a much higher price than what it has been in the past.
And Trump also wants to build private bridges and highways--the big push for his economy stimulating infrastructure plan. Private industry will charge a fair rate at the beginning and then jack up the tolls big time once private owner/s have the public hooked. A play from The James Bond 007 movie Live and Let Die. Bad guy was going to hook everyone on cheap, high quality heroin, thus cornering/monopolizing the market and then he was going to jack up the prices really high once everyone was hooked.
This proposed line transmission sale should be squashed. Write your Congressman or State Senator, please. _________________ Shhhhhhhhhhhh. . . |
