There was a BOTG (kite) image from about 2008 that I often wish I could find. It's of the crowd in front of some stage in Stevenson... and a local kiter has a tee shirt with:
"Kiteboarding... The sport that %98 of the world will never be ready for"

Not sure if the sentiment still applies.

Great video! BTW, this is about the bridge, not the competition. Seeing the rapids where now is a placid river is pretty cool.
