|
|
I really can't stand having white lines with my bars so i thought about dying them with tye-dye kit. Before I do i was wondering if anyone else has ever done this before or has any suggestions? I know I could always buy lines that are already colored but if I can safely dye them without it affecting the integrity of the lines that would be ideal. [b] _________________ "INVOKE THA STOKE"

Done it with permanent markers. PITA Lasted for a full season. Didn't seem to harm the lines at all. Wouldn't do it again. |

the dye probably wont stain the lines. might just coat them a little bit. (the fibers are more like fishing line than a cotton t shirt). so think of it as painting the lines? |

I agree with that completely! I don't think the dye would be able to penetrate the fibers.
It's looking like I will just buy some colored lines _________________ "INVOKE THA STOKE"

I'll send you some dried up goose shit mud from Rooster Rock. Just add water that that stuff will discolor/stain most anything. |

I'd stick to the blue, the red is $500 a gram.
That's for you guys with all carbon custom boards in top of your teslas I guess...
Blue is $80 for 25g.
I bought a set of nice, new, colored ozone lines for $100 from some frozen Canuck up in Fort Whatever. He kinda tricked me into thinking he was in Seattle but eventually they did arrive... |
