Sun Dec 18, 16 8:05 am Advice on Baja return/Seattle Customs |

We're returning from Cabo and arriving in Seattle with only a 50min layover before our next flight. Is it wishful thinking to plan on making the connection? How is Seattle customs to get through?
Cheers! |

If you have Global Entry, and if you aren't checking bags, and if you are seated very near the exit, and if the plane isn't late at all, then it is possible, but sketchy. Better to plan on two hours.
If you book two separate tickets, you won't be protected on your second leg if you miss it. If you book one ticket on one airline for both flights, you're protected on your second leg. i.e. they'll re-book you if you miss your connection. That assumes you booked with the airline itself through their web page or reservation phone line. The on-line reservation agents like price-line and expedia do not necessarily create reservations that will protect the second leg of your journey. |

That's what I was thinking. Darn! I'll rebook with more layover time.
Thanks! |
