Tue Oct 04, 16 9:49 am Anyone used a traditional golf bag to check kite gear? |

I will be swinging by South Padre Island for a few days during a longer trip to Austin. For various reasons, there isn't much reason for me to invest in a kite-specific golf bag. Has anyone had luck using a true golf bag to transport their gear? I see lots of used golf bags on Craigslist for super cheap. |

It might work better than a kite golf bag. If you are not bringing a board, consider a large regular bag - avoid the issue |

Yep, just use a big duffel bag for all your kites.
But if you are bringing a board (Twin tip 148 Cm or less) get a NSI Deceiver Bag. Pays for itself in no time. . .nice to have. |

Back in the day I looked high and low for a golf bag that was long enough and couldn't find one, but I don't recall how long my twin was at the time.
Lately I have been using my Airwalk rolling snowboard bag and never been questioned. |
