I like how Mark keeps updating the subject like a countdown. 
Its fun to think its close but also has me sweating a bit my recovery... Saw the physical therapist today. Basically I am less than 5 degrees away from full flexibility in all directions, enough for me to start light strength training (by light I mean like lifting 1 pound at full extension.)
Today I made mention of the Mexico trip and got the following run down:
"So your not going to do any of that, what is it - hang gliding, water-skiing, or sailing? or windsurfing?" I was like: "No I am not going to do any of those sports"  |

Suergon hasn't weighed in yet, that meeting is on the 5th. Putting it in terms the surgeon could relate to I said how long before I could hang from a bar, or do a pull up. She said once I was in my strength training, which I just started. So hopefully I am good.
Make sure to take your camera on the oddesy JK... don't they need an official photographer/videographer? Gavin should keep a blog that he updates whenever they get to internet access... maybe not often eh? |

There's not too much internet down there. I will certainly be making a video blog that I will should have done by early march when I get back. I'm taking the videocamera and a powerbook with Final Cut Pro and After Effects. (I am still looking for an underwater housing for a PD-150 camera though)
There is a blog already in place; they just finished their transatlantic journey of over 3300 miles with only FIVE tacks!

Having been to Ventana and cozumel (10 years ago) I would say that Ventana is much cheaper. Of course there is not much to do in Ventana other thatn watersports.
