It's a downwinder so getting the board up is just as simple as catching a runner, it's just with the foil he's riding runners for 300 yards instead of 30 yards.

Looks like hella fun but transporting SUP's back after downwinders is bad enough without the foil attached.

If you pump the foils enough, you don't need a board, a paddle, or a wind swell to get an endless ride.

That aquaskipper was invented here in town. I watched the guy ride all of his prototypes over on Lacamas lake. Interesting for sure, but the foil SUP looks better! Very cool!
