Any chance today or does the coast have to be NW for it to work? |

Not even a chance of the prudish temptress coming out to play today. Usually when the Northern Strip is predicted to crank is when SI is putting out in full force. Problem is the Coast trumps SI any day.
However, I do remember an awesome day probably back in '05 when the wind was really NE. A fun tack back-and-forth from shoreline to shoreline at SI that day. We were tacking to the green shipping marker in the trees (up river just a bit of the usually launching spot on the SI beach) on the Washington side and back.
Bring an SUP, running shoes, or a bike for SI. That is of course if you're not into naked volleyball--if you are bring some sunscreen and a volleyball. |

Glad you got some "out front or back". . . One never knows til one goes, but the risk of a skunk was too high. Especially for DQ soft serve 12m.
For the Scappose Airpark readings it doesn't even look close to have been good to ride.
