Cat ever eat your kite gear?

Anyone ever have an animal eat/destroy their kite gear?

I just bought a brand new bar and got it in the mail today, i unwound the lines in the living room so i could give everything a once over.. I bought it off ebay so i wanted to make sure everything was "new." Big mistake.. My girlfriends cat ate my lines. anyone else have similar experiences? I could use a funny story at this point before I try to kill the cat (kidding obviously) haha

Not my kite gear but, I used to keep my windsurfing gear in the garage. One day I go to unroll a sail and find that a family of mice had moved in and chewed through a few of the dacron sections of the rolls. There was a whole every foot going up the leading edge. That was one expensive bedroll.
