R U Missing your Black Dog "HOBIE"

I saw a dog in chest high water west of "Wells island" .. the island west of Event Site, Hood River.

HObie was frantically looking around for her owner. She was in chest high water heading west out to the deeper water. I was kiting when i saw her. I stopped and she came over to me and she just 'howled' like she was howling for her pack, it was very sad.

I got her to head back to the island and I watched until she was back on dry land.

I memorized the phone number on her tag, not sure i got it right, but i called the number yesterday and today twice, no one answered, so i left a message.

The phone number prefix was 775, a Nevada number.

If anyone knows this dog, or her owner, or if you are her owner, please respond.

I hope that she is with you safe and sound with her owner.
