Tue Jun 16, 15 7:37 am watch out for log branch in water |

While kiting at Jones yesterday, I noticed a branch pointing up to water level. It was about 50 yards out. Approximately from the center of the beach where most people launch. Other than that it was really fun at Jones on Monday. |

I saw the same branch a few weeks ago. It must be attached to a submerged log. I am glad I noticed it because at the right tide level - it could probably mess you up pretty good if you didn't see it. |

yes - it should pick up late in the day once the marine layer burns off. |

Did anyone hit jones today? It looks windy and high tide. High tide is what you want. Same for tomorrow |

It seemed to poke above the surface at the low point of the chop. If only someone had a boat they could get to it and break it off (it looked like it was about 3" diameter). |
