Getting a quiver this year and will be the first time I've owned more than 1 kite at the same time...

I'm ~150lb nekkid, intermediate skill, flying Rallys

6, 8, 11 or 6, 9, 11? Or is there really a difference between an 8 and a 9 in the middle of the range?

well smaller kites , smaller gaps so 6,8,11 except

6,9,11 gets you off the 11 sooner except

in the Gorge at 150# with Rallys think

5,7,10 Shocked

I fly Rallys also, but I'm 190lbs
They are so easy to fly overpowered, in fact, I fly them overpowered all the time Smile
I have 6, 8, 10

I'd go for the 5, 7, 10 with your size

150lbs. . . is that with gear on and soaking wet? If you're going to be flying in the gorge mainly, I would go with the 6/8/11. 2m jumps in kite size are more important with kites that are 9m or less. One can get away with larger bumps in kite size after 9m. . .like 3 or 4 meters as the variances in winds tend to be much less with lighter winds. Also you can expand the use of your kites if you have a bigger board with more buoyance ie directional surf board and now the foil boards really make this a reality.

My three cents

6, 9, 12! 12 will get you out there with the bigger kites since you are only 150 lb.

At 180lb out of the shower, and living in The Hood I use a 10m 90% of the time. For you the 9m would cover most days. If you only ride The Gorge June though Aug.
