I would love to see pix of the inside of people's kiteboarding vehicles. Especially, vans/trucks that have been customized. I drive a tiny RAV4 and everything fits nicely inside but I still dream of the day I have one of those sweet customized vehicles. So please post some vehicle porn.

Thanks Kurt. The conversion looks great. Are their any other changes or additions you would/did make to it as your kiting vehicle?

Mod for my kite vehicle happening this winter. Because you need 400HP to get to the wind. Twisted Evil (And before I offend all of my environmentalist friends, I should see nearly a doubling of my freeway MPG.)

Started with a modified Westy (Jetta engine), then on to a Sportsmobile, Chev Duramax/Bigfoot camper combo, to an insanely fancy RV, back to a truck/camper combo with tons of storage (storage for four has always been an issue). For our recent Baja travels, the trucker boxes held 6 kits, two boards, all associated gear, inflatable SUP, 3 boogie boards (why, I do not know), snorkel gear for 4, associated camping gear, two jacks (high lift and air over hydro bottle), enough tools to build a car, several gallons of DEF, plus a bunch of other odds and ends for the flat days (footballs, soccer balls, etc). If driving slow (55-ish), the mileage was not that different from our former Westy.

I know the orig poster was looking for inside shots, but why when you have this?

I recognize this as one of the camp spots at Bahia de Conception. Incredibly beautiful waters about an hour south of Mulege, Baja California Sur.

Kip is correct. Before we stayed at a different location along the bahia, which was awesome, but thought we'd try Santispac this time (largely because the wife needed tonic water and the search led us far enough north that I didn't feel like heading back south to our usual spot -Should have married a beer drinker). It sucked. Lots of traffic through the camp site, quads, dump trucks, hawkers, drunk gringos, etc. However, a great view.
