check out this shot of Jason Slezak this evening at Stevenson. iKite sensor was stating 9mph. He's flying the new 15.5m Solo and a foilboard. Liquid Force is redefining what light wind kiting is like in the gorge. Good to have their R&D team right here testing kites and foilboards so we know they will work in our playground.
Check em out at Pepi's. I heard Second Wind Sports just received in another shipment of the LF fun foils.

Its a whole new learning experience both foiling but also the kite flying with low wind speed/high apparent wind. After an awesome run, I made the mistake of trying to transition downwind only for my kite fall out of the sky. Your transitions need to be strong in these conditions... Tacks upwind or very quick downwind jibes. |

I wonder if the river current is even more helpful when riding a foil.
