yes!
Nor Bay...(as the windsurfers called it).....chinook.
Get it!
Love that place.
Some guy broke the speed record for windsurfing there years ago.
You may see a guy in a very expensive Audi pull up with a windsurfer.
He flies in from San Fran to windsurf it. _________________ SPACESTICK

There where good southerly winds at roads end with no one out on the smaller surf. It was a surprise wind just on the beach and near shore. I was testing a 6 m ram air kite there. Getting quite powered. |

Which works best? Low or high? Lots of pilings to watch out for? |

High tide best, but the beach gets small...low tide gets a little narrow, but still ride-able.
There's pilings 1/2 mile off in either direction but if you stay on inside of sand bar, all good.
Here's a LOW TIDE pic...
Olsen Street is the approach in Chinook (yellow house with boat by road).
I've been eyeballing Baker Bay (Stringtown road) just South of the airstrip...it's practically my back yard...(looking South, low tide...)
