Looking to get in contact with Greg (don't know last name) a regular sailor in Hood River. I think his boat is called the "All We Got," but I might have heard that wrong.
Yesterday I goofed and went out on a Viento to HR downwinder too late. My gf and I got stuck on the OR side in Swell City when the wind started to shut off and we were picked up by Greg on a sailboat late in the evening, sparing us the long walk/hitchhike/drift back to Viento. He's a former windsurfer and goes out on his sailboat A LOT. Didn't catch his last name, said he lives in HR and runs his own business up there. I'd like to do something for him in return. I'm guessing there are some people on the forum that know him!

Mind you, this was a 2 hour boat ride back! He said he rescues people all the time in wind sports. Special and very awesome dude, something extravagant is in order for him we need to arrange! Also, if you see him around at any local bars, lets be an awesome kiting community and buy the dude a beer~! Who knows who he might rescue next!

Don't know how to get in touch with Greg, but while all wayward kiters and late evening SUP'rs are accounted for, authorities are still investigating reported sitings of a strange & hideous beast rumored to lurking around the Wells Island area yesterday evening....

saw you guys out there about 6 on my way home and thought who the hell would be out their so late. hope they have a nice walk or a nice sail boat ride. Hope you hooked the sailor up you slackers!!!
