My parents and family are arriving to PDX in may and are excited about the whole pacific NW salmon thing. Can anyone recommend a salmon fish charter/guide/ or general advice, please?
Thanks! |

A lot of options but this guy seems to always score the goods. Osprey Fishing Adventures out of Newport. Has a FB page with contact info etc. Dog Patrol on this forum knows him and worth a PM for more insight/info etc. |

osprey is top notch. This is my uncle. I work with people that fish and they ask him for info out on the water. he will take you out for salmon, halibut, link cod, tuna and sharks if you would like to burn your muscles out reeling them in. I think he is the best charter. Just bought a new boat for this year. super big cat that is ultra smooth. My 8 year old nephew loves riding on the boat. HE caught link cod and salmon yesterday and none were biting. The water needs to warm up about 3-4 degrees to get the bite on!!!
