The snow is already dumping in Colorado with snowkiters getting in their first winter sessions and the resorts opening up two weeks ahead of schedule. Colorado local and snowkite pioneer Paul Macaj, aka Motz, joins ASnew.net this week to give us a sneak peak into his new snowkite DVD 20/10, filmed in Colorado, Montana and Utah. Motz was one of the first snowkiters in the US in 1998. He will share with us why his personal preference is C-kites for snowkiting, along with some other tips that he has learned along the way.

Okay Motz, I've got a few questions:

1. Did you develop these dance moves through kiting or did you develop your kite moves from these dance moves ?
2. I'm coming to the County with all 3 Teams Nov 12 -20. Do you think we should bring the kites or is that too early.
3. How do you maintain your boyish good looks ?

Last night, ASnews.net had an excellent interview with Motz, former pro snowboarder and now pro snowkiter for the last 6 years. A Colorado resident, Motz shared with listeners tips to keep you safe and alive when first trying backcountry exploration, what winds he considers safe when snowkiting, dumbass things he sees people doing when first snowkiting, how snowboarders typically view our sport, and much more.

He also just launched his new dvd 20/10 with Chasta, Remi, Alex Petersen and many locals talents from the US. The DVD has a bonus section which gives directions to many snowkiting spots around the US from the closest major airport. His DVD also shows you how to build a kicker...

20/10 is available at The Kiteboarder.com store. You can listen to the pocast at www.thekiteboarder.com, kiteforum.tv or download it from Itunes. Enjoy-- it was a really fun and informative show!
