When I lived in SoCal we would go there occasionally to spectate on huge south swells. You could hear the massive beach crowd hooting during sets from over a mile away. They would have the paramedics and the ambulance on the beach anticipating the garenteed injuries. Tons of chicks in bikinis and everything else that is insane about the beach scene in southern Cal would be in full bloom when the place is pumping. Definitely worth the admission price!! Did he whack a dudes head sticking above the water and that stopped his board? They're going to have to come out with a board that just doesn't stop when it hits people in the head for that place. With surfboards in the lineup its just insane. Spongemonkeys maybe, but pointy boards w/fins is just stupid. Its a no paddle double up rebounding off the breakwater monster wave that dumps you on the beach. What could be more fun? _________________ Kite Repair?
