				| While at work Tuesday I made the mistake of checking the Rufus wind graph and had visions of humongous rollers. Anybody care to file a report? |

Hows rufus work? I want those bus sized rollers! My surfboard god demands a sacrifice of hellashish wave shredding!! Is it as simple as if rufus is windy the it was rollers? ??? Or is there more to it. If im going to drive 3 or more hours to get there I dont want to risk skunkage if at all possible.........

				| Wind must be from SW to W. ANY N in it causes devil gustola from Hell. Dam spill needs to be 260 kfs or less |

Rufus is such a fun spot and always sunny. The north wind does make it a wicked bitch but when it's good....it's park and ride if ya know what I mean. Windance demo days/BBQ coming up on the 22/23rd would be fun to justify the drive. (+40 miles east of HR) |

				| Where do you find the dam spill data? Just curious cuz I was there yesterday and expected bigger swell. But it was still an amazing day- Rufus rocks! |

demo days sounds like a fun time to drive out there. But with how busy my kite school is I work everyday its windy so finding time to get to rufus has kept me away. Time for a vacation....

Hopefully I can swing it and make it out there end of month. _________________ *AIR PIRATES KITEBOARDING*

I was out there on Tuesday as well. I was way overpowered on a 7m so my session was ultra short. Rufus is an amazing place and riding the swell there is so much fun. When you are reading the wind at Maryhill, keep in mind that there is a good amount of current so you usually need one size smaller kite at Rufus than you normally ride that wind speed. _________________ KB4C!!!!!!!!!!!!

				| Eric, if Dam spill needs to be 260 or less, is there a way to find out this data in advance? I don't think so. |

There it is. Wind direction most important aspect to watch. For the most part I think we are past the high flow period. |
