All by yourself too! Nice man! That looks really awesome and makes me want to continue working on my strapless game now.

Ken, those are sick shots. !!!!!
I got one of those line mounts and have been hesitant to throw it on my lines due to the way my lines work. Does it ever inhibit the safety of the flagging line?
Are you gonna be out there sunday if the wind permits? Would be great to meet up and ride together. Cheers!

Yes, all photos are from a GoPro Hero 3 using the new line mount from Camrig. When you attach something (or modify kite or lines in any way) to your lines there is a risk that you might compromise the normal operation of the kite, including the safety release system. The line mount is designed for your flagging line to still be operational. One thing that does happen about once every 3 sessions is the following. The outside steering lines can get snagged on the mount or the camera. When this happens you can successfully un-snag the outside lines by simply shaking the kite from the bar. I really like seeing all kinds of kiting-related photos and videos posted up by everyone. Very Happy

hey ken,
first off sorry if this sounds like a hijack but want to address the snagging.
try getting the mount plugs from camrig.
I use these and they should prevent the snagging you mention.
It is still possible to catch a steering line, but much easier to resolve if you are using the plugs.
basically how they work is they are made from a soft rubber and the mount plug fills the void that is created by those little fingers that hold the lines in place.
I rode for years without using these but once I came up with the design, I prefer to use them all the time now.

here's a video from camrig that shows how they are attached.

Do you know if 2nd Wind carries the "mount plugs" or do I need to order them online from www.camrig.com ?
