Had a great three hour session at shipwreck today. powered up on a 9m. I'd be interested in a downwinder Sunday if conditions are good.

Thank god someone was on it... I spent the day down with the flu but kept checking those coastal sensors.... wind looked great! Cams looked socked in, was it cloudy/foggy?

Columbia wasn't the only one. I was in Seaside and one guy on a 13m C4 (sorry, forgot your name) left to do a downwinder to Sunset.

I had a short session in the estuary, but the conditions weren't as good in there as I might have liked. It seemed a lot gustier, and there are a lot of trees in the water right now. I'd probably have done better with the downwinder, but this was my first time out since October, and I wanted to stay out of the surf until I knocked off some of the rust.

It was good anyway. I was already in Seaside for another reason, and my main goal was to see how warm I would stay with some of my new "colder water gear" - and that was a success (almost too warm).
