Looks like there are pretty strong east winds at Stevenson today. Could launch there or blackberry beach I suppose if I want to brave the cold. Mid teen east winds at the ponds at Clatsop spit - might be warmer there? There are even east winds at Jones Beach in the 20s. Anyone kite Jones in Feb?

| Got a new kite I am itching to try out, and its pretty warm out(at least air temp...). Dont see any kites in the water at the rooster cam, but I think I might head over there and go for it.

Where was everybody? I got to Blackberry Beach just after 1pm... Nicely lit on the 10m and the water wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Pretty amazing to be out there this early... gotta love the Gorge!
