Was thinking of Home Valley to Stevenson around lunch - or anywhere - anybody got ideas - I miss the ikitesurf wind forecast - we should start our own for the off season.

Dude, that is weak sauce. I may tell the office that I have to be with the baby tomorrow and catch a little breeze. Rooster tomorrow? Or perhaps Stevenson?

Who is going to be available in the day?

The aviation forecast for troutdale--usually pretty reliable--is calling for E @ 9 tomorrow... Thats a big jump over all of this week.

I'm thinking that bodes well for Rooster. Very Happy

I'll be heading out in the morning if all looks good. Maybe a downwinder from Dalton, or a hike to the East end of Sand Island?

I caught the last 40 minutes of east wind at Rooster around lunch - some guys had a good morning session at the east end.

Came up to 10 from the West about 2 - suckered me out and promptly died.

Wanted that East and West Session.

Imagine how sick it'd be to capture guys riding east and west wind at the same time... panoramic photo should be able to do it.

I have definitely seen it being workable from both directions, very unusual though and only for a few minutes.
