Hey Jeanette! I talked to Tucker and he said he was going to be heading out there with the fam, and I was swing by too, but I just talked to Nate and I think we're gonna carpool once he gets off work... I hate paying for gas!
You're right though, Phil. Grrrrr! "Maybe it'll pass." |

I had a friend in Hood River yesterday, he said kiters were still out in the water with the shit! Why? I'm never that hard up
Sewage Spill Estimate Downgraded
The estimated amount of sewage released into Odell Creek on September 12 as the result of a pump failure at the Odell Sanitary District plant has been reduced. District officials now say the spill released only 15,000 to 20,000 gallons of raw sewage into the creek, instead of the originally estimated 111,000 gallons. An error in the original estimate calculations is cited for the change. The Hood River County Health Department is still advising people to avoid contact with water from the Hood River downstream from the Tucker Road Bridge over the next week. Officials advise if you do come in contact with that water, wash your hands and do not ingest the water. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality had the sanitary district post signs along Odell Creek warning people to stay out of it. |
