Well Sasquatch, I have kited at Stevenson a few times and always found the launch/ land a bit sketchy for my 110lbs. Sunday, the fairly light winds created interesting launching and landing conditions - after seeing Carol (the only girl out that day) accidently do a kiteloop trying to land and getting worked near the cliff, I decided to play with the camera from the safety of the shore. Always next time...cheers, Tonski

Nice work with the camera... Excellent to see the NW-Kite Community share the stoke through daily photo-posts. Thanks for taking up the slack this week. I ended up working a Kite Demo all weekend and the only photos I shot were at the Windsurfing Windfest in Hood River.
Bam...

Your photos are looking great... What camera body are you using? Some of the shot are looking pretty zoomed in, so you must have at least a decent zoom. My large zoom lens is only 70-200mm, but it is the constant f2.8 that requires the MONGO size...
One little piece of advice! Watch that horizon line... You seem to have a consistent tilt!
Nice work, and I am also learning stuff every day out there taking pictures... Jon

Aah yes, good point about the horizon line - I'll watch that.
The camera is a just a Canon S50 (5 megapixel) no extra lens - The original images shot in full resolution are much nicer than those posted. Thanks for commenting. Tonski
