it is freakin sweet, but, hit at your own risk
and for anyone who doesn't know---your kite goes at 45 when you hit it--not 12 o clock
enjoy
ps
the kids have been building some new sliders
so be on the look out

I hope you’ve invested in adequate anchorage this time.

When is the white monster going to turn around for a regular hit ? That thing is a little too intimidating to hit switch. It looks like it has a little more 'kick' in the last 1/3 than the old one - maybe a little bigger too. Would anyone get super pissed if a few guys want to session it and turn it around for a regular hit as long as its turned back - or do you guys have it set for just the right angle ?-C

you can switch it around if you like, just pay attention to your landing zone(depth of water)
the only people hitting it now, are capable of hitting it switch, so we won't care which way it is

and more importantly the anchors
if you move it, and it floats away from being improperly tied or anchored,
there will be hell to pay Evil or Very Mad

this town is like mayberry so we will find out who you are

the only reason i say this is because most people have no respect for something they find floating in the river
they didn't spend 3 days building it or the few hundred dollars to build it

last week i had to go stop 3 kids(15-17yrsold) from moving it around
they weren't kiters
i asked them what they were doing
they said they were floating it out to the deep water so they could use it as a slide
they had the anchors pulled and were heading towards the main channel

it is there for anyone who wants to hit it as long as you have respect

we also took donations to build it, only 6 peeps threw in Rolling Eyes
i put in almost 200
with everyone else putting in $20 - 50

if we see you sessioning and you haven't contributed
don't be surprised or upset if we ask you for 20 bucks
anyone who kites knows, you gotta pay to play

enjoy

Now I hate little kids to begin with, but if that was my shit, I'd go fuckin' nuts and probably drown/murder them. Then again though, I've got a very BAD temper and HATE little kids!

i wasn't super worried about the money
that is why i just put the rest in
though it would be nice to see someone who is hitting it a lot to do their part
even if it was building something else, just contributing something
(i already have something in the works for next year---if you saw last years attempt, then you now what i'm talkin about. yet this time it will be unsinkable Wink)

if you are interested in chipping in money, just come see us
most of you know me and the inept crew

for tha kicker
i would just like to get some of my money back to the point that i put in as much as everyone else

then you'll be a part owner, too

it floats, so it can go on a trailer and go to different places
which if it did; would have to be submitted to, and approved by the
Kickowners Association

Damn straight I put in a few bucks, so did Jon Ing and he doesnt even hit the kicker yet. But hes going to want to! We could have some really sick slider set ups down at the sandbar if more people contributed to the cause, some already have. Having sick sliders would make up for the shitty wind any day!

Would it not be wise to hit that thing going toe side? I rolled up to it a bunch of times, but chickened out cause it'd be switch for me if I wasn't riding toe side. Sad I didn't hit it cause I didn't know if my board would slide up it nicely or stick and cause me grief.

I'm assuming you remove all the fins from your board? I suppose you could hit it so your fins go in the gaps between the pvc pipes? It looks sick and I'd love to hit it, just don't want to die.

Any advise? Hooked, Unhooked?

(If I get any more days in this season and I do hit it, i'll send you some cash.)

I've been thinking about that damn thing all day - I have to give it at least a hit or two. If not now - when? -C

You fins need to be less than 1.5" even then there are no gurantees to all four of your fins coming off the kicker safely, I like hitting it with no fins, just cause i have the freedom to move my board wherever then. You can hit it toeside, and definately hit it unhooked, hitting that thing hooked in would be wack, not to mention dangerous!
