I would like to see someone flying their kite in the back of a pickup as it speeds through the Sauvie parking lot, then the guy boosts from the back of the truck, over the enbankment, soars over the beach, flys over two fisherman in lawn chairs, and lands in the water.

I vote for Takashema or Emery

Very Happy

Wasn't it Tanner Hall that broke both of his heals 'gapping' over snow after comin up short?

One of my roomates has the vid with the footage of that accident in it. The shot wasn't even really a "stunt", just a normal back country kicker where the landing was higher than the takeoff point. Tanner hits it at full speed and misses the lip by about 6 inches. Breaks both ankles, practically shattering them through ski boots. Camera guy was right there at the landing, and the sound of the impact is sickening, followed by T-Money screaming "I just broke both my legs!" while still rolling down the hill.

They call him Captain Crash up in Vancouver. The guy is kind of waste of space really. I've ridden with him and wade simmons before. Wade is smooth as butter and goes HUGE. Josh just kind of hacks his way through stuff. His specialty is throwing his body off of cliffs and hoping for the best.

I'd love to see:
1) a MRI of that Bender’s back highlighting the numerous trashed disks & vertebrates he has.

2) a cat scan illustrating the missing gray matter in his skull.

Given time, I'm confident his exploits will end up on the Darwinawards.com

LOL, indeed. Shore style DH mountai biking is hard on a person. 4 years ago I botched a 40+ foot road gap and cracked two ribs, dislocated my shoulder, and somehow permanatly bent my left ring finer. I sold everything and bought kite gear. Very Happy

Check t-hall's wreck: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcJoUWeGmvg

It's a sick movie too, I am having a tough time recalling the title of it though.

I think we're all in agreement that last night's kiteboarding stunt coulda' been a lot more visually pleasing. We'd all be satisfied if two seemingly unrelated stunts last night coulda' been combined into one. I'm thinking something resembling the 1970's Spanky Spangler Houston Astrodome stunt pictured below. 'Cept substitute a loaded Paris Hilton behind the wheel and Sir Sleaz kiteboarding toward her (instead of the opposing airborne car.) Any other ideas for a better stunt?
