The trouble with the English is they rely on the mightily valued Pound, not the Euro. Conversion rate as of this morning: 1.8732. That means $993 for kite only. Ouch.

I read it quick this morning and was wondering if it was maybe in Sterling... That conversion sucks! My Pro-X was only 405 Sterling, but that at the time was a little over $750 USD! Blah, whatever...

That's kinda cool, but it's just a simplified 5th line system, right? I mean, how much more depower can we really get with a C..? It's not doing anything more than you would pulling in a foot of depower with with an SS setup, and Oneline, correct (granted you don't have to lock it off everytime)?
And can you guys tell how they're getting the 5th line to pull in the kite so much with such a little sweep of the bar? Reverse block-and-tackles?

Its a redirect 'block' that allows you to dynamically change the tension on the 5th line to depower the kite more than the standard trim loop line throw. Works great and is pretty simple. The only down side is that it relies on the standard Naish 'long' trim loop through which some people dont prefer.
We dont have pricing for kite only but yes the 9m '07 Boxer SLE will retail for $1299 complete.
