A kiter from Longview sailed parking lot D this winter on a SS B3. I couldn't hold my 7m Fuel down. Desdemona read gusts to 50. I'm sure fall Rooster gets in that range quite a bit too. Go get em |

Didn't ever try going out on the water, but JP and I did take the B3 out to South Jetty, Newport this past winter in 50-60kts. Luckily I had put a chicken loop on the bar, so our arms weren't taking the full load, but the kite could easily "tea bag" you 10ft off the ground while parked in neutral (in the gusts).
This wasn't the same day, but basically the same thing in a little less wind. Still up around 50 though...
