Guess again my friend. The waroo & Best’s other products are going no where as well as thier pricing.
As consumer you now have additional choices when buying your next kite.
When did having a choice for consumers become a bad thing?
Now give me more cow bell damn it!!!

They said the regular Waroo might (means will) go up $50 in a few sizes to pay for some extra bits they are adding.
Its smart they will hit at a couple different price points... even if the Pro is only marginally better, some will probably pay double just for the coolness factor. My bet is the kite has huge margins, and will help keep Best in the green without cranking up the price of the base models. You can't spell profit without "pro."

Must be all that Sauvies water has given me a taste for it... anyway, yuck, enough of this metaphore!
Just ignore all the hype until you actually demo one of these things... that's what I did with the Waroo. Hopefully New Wind and ASI get a couple demo ones to lend out. |
