Similar but as you can see the Key HD has more shape over all in the LE and less sweep in the wing tips. The T2/T3 has a much wider/flatter aspect in the canopy making it more bow looking IE bow kite. KEY HD has DNA of similar designs of the Bow/Delta-Hybrid shape to give you a in between kite that as attributes of these trend leading kites. Also Bridle layout is totally different and there is 1:1 at the bar. Looks can be deceiving..

I road it and it may look similar but its a lot different, it has super easy relaunch and is much simpler then the T2/T3. It also jumps better but has the same ultra soft landing, give it a shot before you bad mouth it.

Just commenting on looks, that all. And on a further note of no disrespect, but mere "observation", I've noticed this . Perhaps this was overlooked, or I am just immature

I doubt Spike was bad mouthing the Key when he comapred it to the T2/T3s. He's been riding T2s since they came out - still does as far as I know.

Really excited to teach on the Key kites this summer. I think the delta is a great all around kite - one you can teach on and then after the lesson go shred it up your self.
Why only 3 sizes?

To make it super simple... Depending on how well the HD is received, next year could lead to more sizes...

I have had a harder time flying my Key 13 over my T3 9&11 and thought of trying the T3 bar in 2:1 mode on the Key. When looking at the lines I noticed all the lines on the T3 to be even when the Key bar to have a difference on the center lines. Is it the bar giving me difficulties?

I know nothing about the Key but that doesn't look right. I would guess you have a line length problem

Yeah...when you say you were having a hard time, do you mean it was pulling to one side?
It's personal preference and what your used to, but to me the handling is way better on the Key than the T3. Especially when the T3 is in 2:1 mode.
Way more direct anyway.

| Dangler was flying a 10M KEY on Sat at Stevie. Kite looked great in the air. How does one get to demo? Would be interested to see if they fly differently than T2s.
