I am up that way sometimes and was wondering, anyone know of any kite locations around there?

Arlington is supposed to be good, little over an hour away.

I would not launch at Arlington if I were you--VERY sketchy.

I went to school in Walla Walla & we used to windsurf by the Marina at Wallula Jct. There used to be a windsurfing shop in the Tri-Cities back in the late 80's.

i've been wanting to try to kite on the snake down by charbenneau (sp?)... it gets pretty windy there every day it seems like

Used to live in Pendleton and I spent most of my time at 3 mile, and Roosevelt. Arrlinton is good for windsurfing but sucks for kiting. About 10 mins. east of Arlington is 3 mile, but it's an advanced kiteboard launch.
Roosevelt is a great spot and always a nice group of people to lauch you. Very Happy

boardman has a nice sandy beach, and rufus is just a little further than arlington.

spring and early summer are the season, look for frontal passages.
