Anybody been there? Any spots or shops I need to see? I'll be there the first week of March.

Actually, the main kite beach in San Juan is called Punta Las Marias, and it is just to the west of Ocean Park or 3 miles east of the airport. I like to kite east or more upwind of there however.

on the west side of the island is Shack's, which is for advanced waveriding only. The south part of the island has many isolated beaches as well. The east side has little to no kiting potential.

The main shop is VELA UNO, which is owned by Jaime and Fernando. They'll set you up with whatever gear or digs you might need and are right next to the kite beach
