So I picked up a wing harness because I was starting to get achy shoulders and elbows.
Are people just using regular spectra for their harness lines? No vinyl sleeves or anything? Do you put a line on every wing or make it so it's easy to clip on and off as you switch wings? |

I'll answer my own questions for any future readers.
Most people seem to like the purpose-built wing harness lines with some bungee style stretch so they retract out of the way when not being used. No vinyl sleeves. These lines will retail for $25-30 each and for convenience you're going to want one on all your wings unless you're switching the same boom from wing to wing.
Having the line stretch a good forearm's length or more from the center strut.
I was warned that I might not like riding with a harness so before I bought any lines I rigged up some spectra line and when for a test ride. I hated everything about it. Having to sear the harness, having the extra line flopping around, and having the wing yank me around at my core in the gust threw off my balance and height control.
I've decided winging with a harness is not for me...at least for now. |

| I really like my harness lines, however my harness lines are attached to a bar that I can change from wing to wing, except for me 3 meter which is rope which I don't mind, because 3 meter is a challenge enough already |
