Mon Aug 05, 19 9:36 am Board repair supplies in HR? |

|
Looking to do some repair on a CF foil board where one of the inserts lifted out. Is there a place in HR or near-by where I can get some CF cloth, inserts and the right epoxy for the job? Cheers

nope - fiberglasssupply.com is your best option.
windance and second wind have some supplies/products like inserts and solarez.
what they don't have you can probably get from the auto parts store. |

Doubt you’ll find CF, but Windance has $15 kits with epoxy and enough glass to do a fair sized repair, or a bunch of dings, if you are careful with mixing resin. The hardware store will have epoxies for small, quick repairs.
Assuming the board had a polystyrene core, you’ll want only epoxy supplies.
A Clarke foam core, glass board can be repaired with polyester resins from any auto supply. They don’t have a great voice of clothe, but for down and dirty quick repairs, it’ll work.
Tap Plastics is on NE Sandy Blvd in Portland, around 20th. They have an extensive inventory. You might even find CF at Tap. _________________ Pull the cork. |
